BESNOOW I53 Wireless Earbuds in Blue Review: the Same Hardware on a Listing With No Ratings

  • This blue variant shows no customer ratings, while the identical white variant of the same product carries 582 ratings and a far higher sales rank.
  • The title claims 48 hours total while the specification says 40, and the 400 milliamp hour case capacity supports the lower figure.
  • Bud runtime is 8 hours per charge, with a fully specified 35 gram case charging in 1.5 hours.
  • “Lossless CD-level audio transmission” is claimed with no codec named, and “IP7” is not a valid IP code.
  • The listing recommends driving, cycling, snowboarding and skateboarding; these are sealed buds with no transparency mode.

Description

This is the blue BESNOOW I53, ASIN B0F1XXWHJQ, listed since March 2025 by Shenzhen iSK Technology Co. Ltd. The most important fact about it is not a specification. This listing is a color variant of a product that exists on Amazon under at least two other ASINs, the feature bullets are word for word identical across all of them, and the sales performance behind each is wildly different. This one shows no customer ratings at all and ranks 7,685th in Earbud and In-Ear Headphones, while the white I53 listing shows 582 ratings and ranks 782nd. An earlier I53 listing is a third entry point to the same hardware.

Why the duplicate matters to you

Separate ASINs for color variants are normal on Amazon, and so is splitting reviews across them. What it means in practice is that the reviews you might read on one listing do not apply to the one you are buying, and that a listing with no ratings tells you nothing about how the seller handles returns, packaging or warranty for that particular variant. If the customer feedback is part of why you are considering this product, buy the variant that actually carries the feedback rather than assuming it transfers.

The hardware, on the published evidence, appears identical. Same 14.2 millimeter driver, same 32 ohm impedance, same 400 milliamp hour case, same 3.7 gram buds, same three tip sizes, same Bluetooth 5.4. Only the color field and one battery metadata field differ.

Connection and the codec question

Bluetooth 5.4 is stated with a 15 meter quoted range, roughly 49 feet, which is an optimistic line of sight figure. A magnetic hall switch reconnects the buds when they leave the case. The first bullet claims a 30 percent faster transmission speed against no stated baseline and promises “no delay” without publishing a latency figure in milliseconds. Bluetooth versions change connection stability, power draw and LE Audio support, not sound quality.

No codec is named anywhere on this page. Not SBC, not AAC, not aptX, not LDAC. The third bullet nonetheless claims “lossless CD-level audio transmission”, which cannot happen without a codec that carries it and that both the phone and the buds support. That claim is unsupported by the published specification, and the honest assumption is SBC only, the baseline every Bluetooth device speaks. The “HiFi Stereo” phrase in the title rests on the same absent evidence.

Multipoint pairing, a companion app, transparency mode and wear detection are all absent. Assume none exist. The Noise Control field reads “Sound Isolation”, meaning passive blocking only, so despite the title there is no active noise cancellation here. The ENC in the title is call side microphone processing, and the claim that it filters more than 80 percent of external noise names no test standard.

Battery: two totals, one capacity figure to check them with

The fourth bullet gives 8 hours of music playback on a single charge and up to 48 hours with the charging box, charging fully in 1.5 hours. The specification block gives “Carrying Case Battery Average Life: 40 Hours” and a case capacity of 400 milliamp hours.

Those two totals cannot both be right, and the capacity figure points toward the lower one. A 400 milliamp hour case recharging a pair of buds rated at 8 hours will realistically manage around four cycles once charging losses are accounted for, which lands near 40 hours rather than 48. Plan around 8 hours per charge, which is the figure that decides your day, and treat 40 hours as the working total.

The case is described fully: 59.98 by 20 by 27.98 millimeters, 35 grams, in blue. Publishing case dimensions and weight is unusual and useful if pocket size matters. Every quoted playtime is a best case at moderate volume, and no measurement volume is stated. For sets that publish a consistent total, the Sony WF-C510 and the JLab JBuds Mini are cleaner comparisons.

Drivers, fit and a water code that does not exist

The driver is 14.2 millimeters with a 32 ohm impedance, which is on the higher side for an earbud. Without a sensitivity figure there is no way to judge how loud that will run from a given phone, and no frequency response is published. Each bud weighs 3.7 grams.

The box contains three sizes of silicone ear tips, itemized properly alongside the case, cable and manual. Tip choice is the specification that most decides how a sealed set sounds, because a bud that does not seal loses its bass. Controls are touch on both buds and include volume, which plenty of rivals drop.

The water claim is broken in the same way on every variant of this product. The title says “IP7 Waterproof” and the fifth bullet says “IP7-rated nano-coating technology”. IP7 is not a valid IP code: real codes carry two positions, one for solids and one for liquids, which is why genuine ratings read IPX4 for splash resistance or IPX7 for immersion. The specification field says only “Waterproof”, a phrase rather than a code. Read this as no published water rating, treat the set as sweat resistant at best, and remember that even a real IPX7 excludes seawater, pool chemicals and pressurized water while degrading with age.

The use cases to ignore

The Recommended Uses field lists cycling, snowboarding and skateboarding, and the sixth bullet suggests wearing these while driving. Reject all four. These are sealed isolating earbuds with no transparency mode, and wearing them removes your awareness of traffic, sirens and your own vehicle. Wearing headphones while driving is restricted or illegal in many jurisdictions, and the same awareness problem applies on a bike, a board or a mountain.

Use them indoors or on a treadmill. If outdoor awareness matters, an open design is the correct shape, and the sealed alternatives worth comparing are in the in ear and earbud style headphones section.

Who should buy this, and who should not

Buy it if you specifically want the blue finish, 8 hours per charge suits you, and you value a listing that publishes an impedance, a case capacity and full case dimensions. On specification disclosure this remains one of the better budget listings in the catalog, whichever color you choose.

Do not buy this particular ASIN if customer feedback is part of your decision, because this variant has none behind it and the white version has 582 ratings. Do not expect 48 hours when the case capacity supports around 40. Do not treat “IP7” as a rating or “lossless CD-level” as a codec claim. And do not wear these while driving, cycling or boarding, whatever the listing recommends.
